Reiki Brisbane

Energy healing to support emotional balance.

Discover Reiki healing

Reiki is a gentle, holistic healing practice designed to support your body’s natural ability to regulate, rebalance and relax. Originating in Japan, Reiki is based on the understanding that the body carries a life force energy that flows continuously. When you are stressed, overwhelmed or fatigued, this flow can feel disrupted.

Reiki sessions are designed to support the restoration of that flow. Many people describe feeling calmer, lighter and more settled after a session.

Reiki sessions are available online or in person and run for 60 or 90 minutes. There is nothing you need to do other than lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table (in person) or in a quiet space in your own home.

Who Reiki is for

Reiki is for people who are carrying more than they let on.

It can be particularly supportive if you are:

  • Feeling chronically stressed, stretched or close to burnout
  • Noticing emotional reactivity, irritability or overwhelm
  • Struggling to switch off at night or experiencing disrupted sleep
  • Navigating grief, transition, decision fatigue or uncertainty
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or “not quite right”
  • Wanting a gentle, non-invasive way to support your wellbeing

You do not need to be spiritual. You do not need prior experience. You just need a willingness to pause and allow your nervous system space to settle.

Reiki meets you exactly where you are and supports your body’s natural capacity to rebalance.

The benefits of Reiki healing

Life can place sustained pressure on your nervous system. Reiki offers a restorative experience that supports recalibration during demanding periods.

Here is how Reiki may support you:

Stress relief

Supports nervous system regulation, helping you feel more grounded and present.

Emotional balance

Creates space to process emotions with greater steadiness and calm.

Physical relaxation

Encourages muscular and mental relaxation as the body softens out of tension.

Energy restoration

Supports renewed clarity and vitality when you are feeling depleted.

Personal insight

Provides a quiet environment for reflection and internal awareness.

Complementary support

Integrates well alongside meditation, mindfulness and other wellbeing practices.

What to expect in a Reiki session

Trying something new can feel unfamiliar, so we prioritise comfort and clarity throughout the session.

Sessions are offered online or in person (location confirmed upon booking). In-person sessions take place in a private, quiet treatment space. You will lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table.

Your practitioner will ensure you are supported with cushions or blankets as needed and explain how the session will unfold. You are welcome to ask questions at any time.

During the session, the practitioner will gently place their hands lightly on or just above specific areas of your body. Many people report sensations of warmth, calm or lightness as their system settles.

Each experience is individual, but the intention is consistent: to support relaxation, emotional steadiness and nervous system reset.

{“Ange and Grant’s Silent Retreat was everything I never knew I needed. I signed up as a challenge because it didn’t seem like the kind of thing I wanted to do, but in reality, it was the kindest thing I have ever done for myself. The retreat was THE ultimate self- care, nourishing and delicious food, an agenda with activities that were good for the soul and an opportunity to connect with an amazing group of people (albeit non-verbally!). Thank you to all involved in the planning, I cannot wait for next year.”

I loved the sound healing session with Ange and Grant – it was calming, relaxing and allowed me to step away from my thoughts and be fully present in the moment. It’s not often that I take 90 minutes to just be, so I found the experience to be the ultimate self-care. Highly recommend!

This retreat was so much more, way beyond my expectations and congratulate Grant and Ange for putting together a first-class magical gathering. They created such a safe space for us and every activity was meaningful. The sound meditation was amazing, as were the yoga classes. Food was exceptional. I can certainly recommend this retreat and it would be wonderful if they could bottle this retreat to take home.

Still have questions?

What is the difference between Reiki and massage therapy?

Both practices support relaxation. Massage focuses on physical manipulation of muscles and tissues, often using pressure and movement techniques. Reiki works more subtly with energy flow while you remain fully clothed, supporting the body and nervous system as a whole.

How do I find the best Reiki practitioner in Brisbane?

Look for a practitioner with formal training, experience, and a clear approach to client care. Comfort, trust and feeling safe during a session are key indicators of alignment.

How long do Reiki sessions usually last?

Sessions are typically 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your preference and needs.

How often should I schedule Reiki sessions?

This varies. Some clients attend monthly as part of their wellbeing routine, while others schedule sessions during high-stress periods. Your practitioner can offer guidance based on your goals.
