This is what our Sound of BeingTM sound healing sessions are all about—finding relaxation, bliss and stillness.

Our 90-minute sessions combine meditation, breathwork and the magical resonance of crystal bowls, alongside nine other carefully selected instruments. Together, these elements create a truly immersive sound healing experience designed to help you release tension, rebalance your energy and reconnect with yourself.

In our Sound of BeingTM sessions, you’ll step into a calming space where everything is set up and prepared to support your relaxation and wellbeing.

Arrive to Session and get Comfortable

Lie down comfortably on a mat with cushions and blankets, ready to relax in a peaceful environment.

STEP 2

Guided Meditation and Breathwork

Begin your session with gentle breathwork and meditation to help you settle into your experience.

STEP 3

Immersive Sound Healing

Experience the magical resonance of crystal bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and other instruments. Each sound plays a part in resonating with specific parts of your body and mind.

You may feel gentle vibrations or tingling in your body or simply drift into a deeply relaxed state. You may even fall asleep! Each session is different, but the goal is always the same:  To leave you feeling calm, balanced and reconnected to yourself.

1. How does sound healing therapy work?

Sound healing works by using specific sound frequencies that interact with your body’s natural energy centres, promoting relaxation, balance and clarity. Through instruments like singing bowls, drums and gongs, the vibrations help soothe the nervous system and create a sense of calm.

In a private session, you’ll relax comfortably as our sound healing practitioner plays a series of calming sounds. Many people experience a sense of peace, clarity and mental relaxation along with some subtle physical sensations.

At The Healing Centre of Australia, the size of the group depends on the location. We ensure that each person has enough space around them in our group healing space and allows the practitioner enough time to place the bowls directly on your body to feel a deeper resonance with the sound. They will always ask your permission first though!

Yes, sound healing is known for its calming effects on the nervous system, making it an effective way to reduce stress and support mental wellbeing. It offers a gentle, non-invasive approach to managing stress and anxiety.

This depends on you. Many people find benefit attending monthly, while others prefer weekly sessions. Some prefer private 1:1 sessions and others enjoy the group experience. Your sound practitioner can also help guide you on what might best support your wellness journey—but it’s really up to you!

Absolutely! Sound healing is accessible for all experience levels and your practitioner is there to make sure you feel comfortable and supported, regardless of your background or experience. Our group sessions normally consist of some who’ve never been before and others who keep coming back for more!
